Donations
« on: February 01, 2009, 05:31:55 PM »
We just recently added a new option on the main page of EECMM. On the right side of the screen there is a link to donate for the event. With this money we will be to buy a banner for our event and buy food/drinks for the bbq and any other expenses we come across that'll benefit the meet as a whole.

We are currently working on a badge or icon for those who do donate, just to recognize them for willing to push this thing further. First thing on our agenda is the banner, I will get an estimate and then we can set a goal and once that is reached I'll purchase it and we can have it for all the EECMM's that follow. If yall have any suggestions or ideas of what you'd like to see done with the money let us know (be reasonable please) and we'll make it happen. This is a meet for the people by the people so the money that is donated will be directly put back out to make this thing better.

Thank you everyone!

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who has stepped up to help this year!!!

We've been able to buy this years banner, and get a tent for the meet so we have a place to store everything and keep things out of the sun/elements etc... We've still got a few bucks left so we'll see what else we can pick up for everyone!!!

Ok! So I just went to a local print shop, the owner of the place is giving us a great deal on a banner. The size of the banner will be 8x3 feet and will be a thick vinyl material with metal hook rings. This is not a cheapy material and will last us for many many meets.

The cost is $96 so please chip in and help us get this banner! Thank you everyone and I will let you know when our goal is reached.

I'm bringing two cases of iced cakes and a box of cookies. Don't buy any deserts, I've got that covered.

so, once we get a more accurate head count i can figure out what we all want, and how much, or atleast for the mansion crew we can get a menu together... they have a lot of frozen "entrees" that all we would have to do is heat up. if some of us mansion people are interested in doing this..

But i DEF bring down the stuff for the BBQ.  but only thing i can think of is keeping it cool for the trip

That'd be a great idea dude stock the house of foods!

But we still need to try to round up some money for other expenses! So let's keep that donation thing going as well please let others know, for this to be a meet for hte people by the people we all need to pitch in.

We'll take whatever help we can get Andrew, idk if what i said came off wrong sorry if it did. Unfortunately we're still a small community so it's kinda difficult to get things rolling.

If lots = like a box of 50 or 100 then food is cool with me... It's typically one of those "forgotton" items with these kids... lol

Corbs remember walmart circa EECMM 1? ahaha

Put me down for a badge. Although 10 bucks isn't much, it is my way of funding a radical BBQ! I'd also like to see my $ go to free hi-res photos of my car. Thanks to everybody who pitched in.
