I work at an industrial bakery and can bring bread, rolls, cookies and iced cakes for the BBQ. I plan on driving down Friday morning from Kentucky and can drop off the goodies around noon. I'm not sure where I'm staying yet but I was hoping to camp. I have read that someone wanted to camp in the back yard of the mansion, will that be allowed and does the back yard have woods behind it or other houses?

I'm allowed 3 donation requests per year for products. I may not be able to get enough to feed 100 people but I can fill up the back of my Speed.

We donate tons of food to the Appalachian food bank every year. All 450 employees can get these 3 donations each year and most go to school events, church cookouts, Halloween festivals, family reunions etc... No kids will starve to death if I bring cakes and cookies.

Just think of all the kids that could have eaten the grain that will be used to make the beer that will be consumed that weekend. How can you guys sleep at night. We should probably invite at least one homeless person to stay at the mansion and maybe we should pitch in and buy some carbon credits from ALGORE to cover the global warming...oops climate change problems we will be contributing to while we cruise around joy riding. I propose we impose a fun tax on everyone that will be attending, should raise alot of money.
 ;)

i will have to pass on the bouncy thing lol i get motion sickness easily. so we'll see how the dragon treats me lol no joke

hyahahahha dude bob that was a killer time when you and lena came down. so many funny things happened that will never sound funy if we try explaining it

How are you with vertigo?  The dragon is very twisty and seems to last forever.  I got dizzy a few times going through because there are so many corners that I lost my sense of direction.  Not to mention the dragon is in the mountains and is quite high up.  I still have yet to get my video up from last year, but I'll try to get it up soon.

I just got off the phone with Lynn (owner of Lynn's Place). She said she spoke with a lady over at the court house and they said that would be no problem for us to use the parking lot there. This is the funny part, it is empty on Saturdays but if anything there'll be a cop car or two. I spoke to her about catering and we both agreed it'd be easier for them not to cater and whoever would like to eat there can just walk over and eat.

The location for the meet is about 3 miles from the Mansion she said so that means its also close to Microtel too. I will most likely need to talk to the lady she spoke with at the court house to make sure we will have the lot for sure and not a most likely. I also invited her and her staff over to the BBQ on Saturday for helping us out which she was pretty excited about. She said she'd treat me to a free lunch :).

So I guess now we need to pick a time to have the car show.. I'm thinking around 11 or 12 or 1?

Below is some stuff from the menu. If there is anything that yall would like that isn't on the menu let me know and I'll tell Lynn. She said that she can whip it up if it's not the list.

Chicken dinners, Steak dinners, Seafood dinners, Pastas, Soups, Salads, Cheesecakes (nice variety and good deserts)

it is all nicely priced too, should be a good eat

this food place have a website?  and when are we going to run the dragon?  assuming we'll just do the car show after that...i don't know though

we gotta know/figure out how long the run will take....i mean run the dragon....come back...let people grab a bite there and do the car show thing...then back to the mansion or something else....maybe show first then dragon run

Show first and then everyone leaves together to run the dragon. The show will have to be in the morning when it's cool. The drive during the heat of the day, Air conditioning. The BBQ that afternoon and the Party that night.

+1 Lets do the show at noon - that way everyone has time to wake up, get some breakfast, clean up the cars and get together... Then we can all grab a bite to eat, and attempt to train appropriately through the dragon...

Nice work Corbs. Thanks.
